Join us for the program, “Aging is a Changin’” at Simpsonwood Retreat Center on Thursday, March 29 from 8:30 am to 3 pm.  The cost of the event is $35 per person. Speakers include: Dr. Richard Gentzler, Jr. from the General Board plus Joy Melton, Mary Lou Vergara, Susan Pinson, and Clara Welch.

Rev. Rick Gentzler, director of the Center on Aging and Older Adult Ministries for the General Board of Discipleship, will be the keynote speaker on the topic “Aging is a Changin’." Gentzler will bring insight into new realities of aging, older adults' roles in the church, and he will share information on "Boomer Ministry" and reaching out to the over-50 crowd in your community.
 
The event features Gentzler's seminar, plus workshops on financial needs of older adults, finding local resources, and telling your story. And you won't want to miss the musical stylings of the Monday Morning Pops of Peachtree Road UMC.
